Welcome to Aure Entuluva
"Last of all Hurin stood alone. Then he cast aside his shield, and wielded an axe two-handed; and it is sung that the axe smoked in the black blood of the troll-guard of Gothmog until it withered, and each time that he slew Hurin cried 'Aurë Entuluva! Day shall come again!' Seventy times he uttered that cry; but they took him at last alive..."
-The Silmarillion

Aurë Entuluva is a fun, friendly bunch of casual players on the Windfola server. We have many fine current and former members and all have come to know us as a band of friends that appreciate how this game has made the world of Tolkien come alive.
We strive to have an environment of adventure, respect, tolerance, humour and good cheer.

July Events
Kristin and Meri are testing a new idea for kinship event scheduling which I think is great! We will be hosting weekly themes. Each week is a new theme, zone, or event. Watch the calendar and MoTD to see what the new theme will be!!

Dar Narbugud raid! Organized by Windfola Alliance
Hopefully everyone knows that Aure Entuluva is part of the Windfola Alliance. That is an alliance of eighteen different kinships. Telpehta and Mudhawk who are officers in Thorns of Telperion have done a fantastic job of making the alliance work with joints raids and other events for which you can sign up. There is also an alliance chat channel.
The Windfola Alliance website is http://www.thedreamingcity.com/lotro/index.php. You need to register to get access to the alliance section of the forums.
The Windola Alliance is organizing Dar Narbugud raids. There are three weeks of signups available in the Events forum - http://www.thedreamingcity.com/lotro/index.php?topic=213.0.
I strongly encourage people to take advantage of the Windfola Alliance and these joint raids. Ngaemond became a regular for the Turtle run and that is how he got two 1st age weapons. You get to learn how a raid goes so you can pass it on to our own kinship. And you get to meet other players with whom you might tackle game content.
Clarification: Telpehta added a post to make it clearer that you do not have to sign up for all 3 days all 3 weeks. See http://www.thedreamingcity.com/lotro/index.php?topic=213.msg1492#msg1492.

Guide to Dol Guldur instances available
Some generous person posted a guide to the Dol Guldur instance cluster. See http://lorebook.lotro.com/wiki/Guide_to_Dol_Guldur_Instance_Cluster
Do note that on the Lotro forums there has been some feedback and a few "corrections". Ngaemond praised the person who posted the guide but had a few questions/comments.
Guide to Dol Guldur Instance Cluter forum thread
Hope this helps.

Calendar assumes Eastern time
All items posted on the Calendar are scheduled for Eastern Standard Time since a majority of the Kin Members are in that time zone.
